If you're a fan of the Fourth of July or fireworks in general, then at some point you should try to
see the fireworks in Washington, DC or New York City. Washington's fireworks are centered over the National Mall and begin after the annual concert by the National Symphony Orchestra on the grounds of the
National Capitol. If you want to avoid some of the crowds on the Mall, you can get a good view of the fireworks from across the Potomac River in
Arlington, Virginia. New York's massive fireworks display takes place over the Hudson River. Every year hundreds of
thousands of spectators gather in the area
near the Javits Convention Center. And the view is just as good on the other side of the Hudson in
Weehawken and
Hoboken, New Jersey.
