Carnival Cruises from New Orleans
This week Carnival Cruise Line moved the big Carnival Triumph ship to New Orleans, replacing a small ship. The new ship and the Carnival Dream together will carry more than 450,000 passengers annually from the port. It is the largest capacity ever committed to New Orleans by a cruise line.

Carnival celebrated the Triumph's arrival by making donations to local music charities.

From New Orleans, the Carnival Triumph sails 4-day cruises to Cozumel (Mexico) and 5-day cruises to Cozumel and Yucatan (Mexico). The Carnival Dream offers 7-day cruises to the Western Caribbean and Eastern Caribbean.
