The "City of Angels", Los Angeles, has a wide variety of attractions to tempt a similarly wide variety of visitors. Start with the amazing view of the city at the Griffith Observatory which sits at the top of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. The park also contains golf courses, miles of hiking trails, tennis, the Greek Theatre, the Autry Museum and the Los Angeles Zoo. Looking southeast from the observatory you should be able to see Dodger Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Dodgers, about five miles
away.
For the artistically inclined, the Getty Center is a must-visit kind of place. Located in the hills on the west side of the city, "The Getty" includes an impressive collection of modern architecture, which contain an impressive collection of art from the Middle
Ages to the 21st century. Because not even billionaires get to take it with them, LA is also home to another world-class art collection at the Hammer Museum and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. If you're not interested in classical music, the concert hall is still worth a visit to see the Frank Gehry designed building.
