Disney Cruises from Port Canaveral
|
|
Last week we told you about Carnival cruises from Port Canaveral, but it's no surprise that the cruise port closest to Orlando is the most popular departure point for Disney cruises.
You aren't going to find cruises that are more "family-friendly" than those offered aboard Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy, the two ships currently based at Port Canaveral. Wish makes 3 and 4-day cruises to the Bahamas, while Fantasy's schedule contains 5-7 night trips to the eastern and western Caribbean.

Norwegian Joy will be bouncing back-and-forth between Miami and LA a couple of times next winter. Each cruise (obviously) will include passage through the Panama Canal. Depending upon the date and length of the cruise, Joy will also make
stops in Mexico and Colombia.
While she's sorta-kinda stationed in Miami, Norwegian Joy will also be making 3 to 7 night trips to the Bahamas and the western Caribbean.

We are extremely honored to have such an illustrious guest visit us down here in the Tidbit Zone! Please enjoy today's tidbit: For a surprisingly large number of people in the United States, Baltimore is the closest cruise port. (Seriously, the zone includes cities all the way out to Minneapolis and Chicago.) If you're one of the millions for whom Baltimore is your "home port", you might be interested in the complete list of Royal Caribbean cruises from Baltimore.
