Let's travel to a US city that's closing in on its 400th birthday: Boston,
founded in 1630. The city witnessed key events during the American Revolution, including the Boston Tea Party. At the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum
historical interpreters, interactive exhibits, and full-scale replicas of 18th-century sailing vessels bring Colonial America to life. You can also visit the Old South Meeting House, where the Tea Party was organized. The Freedom Trail connects many of the city's most important historic sites with a walkable tour route. Current-day Boston is still home to
the headquarters of insurance companies that began here hundreds of years ago.
Bostonians are rightly proud of the city's sports history. You'll find well-attended Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins games occurring throughout most of the year. The Sawx play at Fenway Park while the Celtics and Bruins make their home at the TD Garden arena - where you'll find dozens of other events each year when the ice and that famous parquet floor aren't in use.

While there are cruises to Bermuda throughout the summer, the schedule of cruises from Boston really gets busy during "leaf peeping" season, with trips to Maine, the maritime provinces of Canada and Montreal.
