October is the month when ships that have been visiting Alaska move to warmer ports for the rest of the year. Holland America's ms Eurodam leaves Seattle on October 5th for a 21-night trip to Fort Lauderdale via the Panama Canal. Includes a nice batch of port calls in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Aruba!

Norwegian Breakaway isn't one of the ships that makes cruises every week from Miami, but it is scheduled to make 13 departures from South Florida between now and next February. Itineraries include trips to the Dominican
