|
|
Explora Journeys is among the smallest of the ocean-going cruise lines with only two ships currently afloat (Explora III coming in 2026). Explora II departs from Civitavecchia on July 21, 2025 for a 14-day cruise that will visit top spots in Italy, Spain and France.

Cruises to Stockholm and Helsinki
|
|
You're not going to find any cruises to Sweden or Finland this time of year, but that changes once the northern hemisphere warms up and cruises start their voyages to the fjords of Scandinavia. Hundreds of cruises visit Stockholm and Helsinki each year. Both cities are (not surprisingly) near the southernmost
points of their respective countries, around 250 miles separating them.
The capital of Sweden, Stockholm, exists on 14 islands about 30 miles inland from the Baltic Sea. From April through September cruises visiting here are offered by Celebrity, Viking, Princess, AIDA and MSC.
Helsinki, Finland's capital, is a port city on the Gulf of Finland, an appendage on the eastern end of the Baltic Sea. Southampton, Hamburg and Copenhagen are the most popular starting points for cruises that include visits to Finland.

July Civitavecchia Cruises
|
|
Civitavecchia is a big cruise departure port and is about 40 miles northwest of Rome. Combine a visit to "The Eternal City" with one of these memorable cruises scheduled for July 2025.
